Frequently Asked Questions
About the course, your certificate and TDLR reporting.
The course
Who is this course for?
Texas consent, private property and incident management towing operators renewing their license. Incident management operators renewing for the first time need a different 8-hour in-person course.
How long does it take?
At least 4 hours. The course has 14 chapters, each with a minimum time, totaling 4 hours. The timer only counts while the lesson is open and you are active, so the total time is usually a little longer.
Can I stop and come back later?
Yes. Your time and quiz results save automatically. Log in and choose Resume.
Is there a final exam?
No. Each chapter ends with a short review. You can retry it until every answer is correct.
What devices work?
Any current version of Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox on a phone, tablet or computer.
Certificates and reporting
When do I get my certificate?
Right after you finish and sign the completion statement. You can print it or save it as a PDF from your account at any time.
Do you report my hours to TDLR?
Yes. We report completions to TDLR within 7 days. Your name and license number must match your TDLR record, so enter them exactly as they appear on your license.
How long should I keep my certificate?
Two years from the completion date. TDLR can ask for it during an inspection or investigation.
Can I use this course every year?
No. TDLR does not award credit for the same course twice.
Payment
How do I pay?
By credit or debit card at checkout. Payments are processed by Square.
Can I get a refund?
See our terms and refund policy.
